Grumpy staff is not a nice welcome. Took 10 minutes for tea to arrive and nearly 40 minutes for breakfast to arrive. Very long time for a small venue. Food however was fantastic. The outside area is really nice. Just a shame smokers ruin the nice outside freedom. A smoking area would be nice to keep them away from diners

Love this place, friendly staff and atmosphere. Great Breakfast every Sunday, better value than cooking at home for me and my Son. Can get busy so I try to visit during quieter times to help staff. During busy times, I have known a slight delay receiving my order, this makes no difference to my pleasurable visits, I go to relax. Thank you Magnolia staff.

I discovered Magnolia Tea Rooms in February 2025 after my wife of 67 years had passed away in December & I suddenly finding there was a big hole in my life. Magnolia was recommended to me for company and good food. I’ve recently been visiting using my mobility scooter even inside and they always help me to a seat. The staff have been amazing to me, going above & beyond each and every time I visit. The food is delicious and I couldn’t ask for more. A big thank you from Martin S.

So impressed with this place, we came back again. Food was delicious, service was ok, atmosphere lovely. Had an ice cream for pud one day and sat outside. Just as nice inside as it is outside. Definitely on the books for a return visit. Regular all day breakfast and a ploughman’s lunch were had - so will attempt something else next time

We stopped by today after a trip out. The food was really nice and it was great to see so many gluten free options on the menu as well. The staff were super friendly and the place is really nice. We will definitely be returning.

Our first visit today & it certainly won’t be our last, we absolutely loved it! Everyone in there & those who were seated outside were so friendly & all wanted to chat to us about our ‘Westfield’ car that we came in. I had a beautiful cheese & pickle sandwich & my Husband had the quiche, both were very tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!

Excellent tearooms with good variety of food. Very welcoming and such a great atmosphere, family business, so happy to support this venture. Great meeting point not far off the motorway. A gem!

Such a lovely cafe, friendly, helpful staff. A great menu choice. Very good coffee and cakes. Dog friendly, supplying blankets for them to lie on rather than on the hard, cold floor. You can even buy free range eggs and sausages in the car park, both of which were very tasty
